Note: ** stand for IP grade, such as 20, 65, 68. 


Installation Information for Our SMD LED Flexible Strips:
1. Solder connection should only be performed on designated solder pads (marked"+/-"). During soldering, don't exceed the maximum soldering time of 10 seconds and the maximum soldering temperature of 260 degrees.
2. There are designated solder pads between each min. unit (50mm or 100mm -3 LEDs). And each unit of SMD LED ribbons can be separated from each other by cutting.
3. We can facilitate LED flexible strip installation by applying double-sided adhesive tape on the back-surface of SMD LED flexible strips. Notes for flexible LED strip mounting:
 (1) Please make sure that the back-surface of SMD LED flexible strips are clean and dry. Dirt, oil, silicon oil, etc, will influence the adhesive effect. And make sure that adhesive backing is removed completely to guarantee perfect mounting.
 (2) After the SMD LED flexible strip is well-positioned, press the strip with an appropriate force to reinforce adhesive force. For example, if 3M adhesive transfer tape if applied for LED strip mounting, then a force of 20N/cm2 should be applied.
4. The minimum bending radius of our SMD LED flexible strips is 2cm. Smaller bending radium is also possible only if the circuit board containing no electronic components. It would be better to position the LED flexible strip after bending to avoid cyclic fatigue.


Safety and Maintenance Information
1. SMD LED flexible strip itself and all its components may not be mechanically stressed.
2. Don't damage or destroy conduction paths on the circuit board while installation.
3. To guarantee safety, only qualified personnel are allowed to install LED flexible strips.
4. Make sure SMD LED flexible strips are mounted to correct electrical polarity.
5. Parallel connection is highly recommended for its high safety. Serial connection is not recommended because unbalanced voltage drop may damage SMD LED flexible strips.
6. Insufficient and unstable power supply may cause LED flexible strip damage.
7. Don't install SMD LED flexible strips directly on metallic or any other conductive surfaces.
8. Pay attention to standard ESD precautions when installing our LED strip lights.


(1) Material corrosion will not be considered as material defect. It's in user's responsibility to provide suitable protection against material corrosion, including protection measures against moisture and condensation, etc.
(2) Connectors are necessary if you want to connect the cut sections together or connect a section to power. (Connector of strip to strip and connector of strip to power are both available).
